Buno 2.0. – an Online Festival 17.1.2021


Buno, in Bangla translates as wild. This is the second season of our little endeavor amidst the rustic tribal villages of Birbhum. A three-hour concert presented in the form of a Live webcast from Moram, Debanandapur, Birbhum, a tribal development project concerning rural women from the area.

Buno 2.0 can be witnessed in HD quality sitting at your homes. We are lucky to have an esteemed video production unit spearheaded by our dear friend and experienced cinematographer Mayukh Chakraborty as our video partner.

Santhali Dancers, Dhamsa & Madol jams (Santhali Percussions) and Rural Flute players followed by hour-long performances by Arko Mukhaerjee Collective (Arko, Koustav, Sounak, Nitin, Sajib) and Borno Anonyo (Satyaki, Nabamita, Rajarshi, Ranajoy, Dwaipayan, Neil), two esteemed contemporary (original / folk) musical collectives from Kolkata. From rural to urban, this is an online Live festival for people of all ages, an experience not to be missed. We are also privileged to have Sandra Chatterjee (Munich) and Shruti Ghosh (Kolkata) two of the finest dancers, researchers and teachers of contemporary experimental and classical dance, to perform in the festival.Book your tickets from Insider.in.
