As the Agricultural Bengali New Year approaches, we invite everyone on this evening in Spring to be a part of this journey of Bengali Folk Songs that celebrate the advent of the new and the spirit of humanity in constant urge of new movements, new methods of survival, in other words, the eternally young. Songs of Boatmen, Farmers, Teagarden-Workers, Mystics, Sufis, Songs of Protest, Songs of Harvest, Songs that always welcome the New. Bhatiyali, Bhawaiya, Murshidi, Baul, Bhadu, Tusu, Biyer Gaan, Dhamail, Chabaganer Gaan, and many more.
All proceeds shall go to the daily running of our labour cantine PMBCK in Howrah, India.

An diesem Abend im Frühling, an dem sich das agrikulturelle Bengalische Neujahr nähert, laden wir alle ein, Teil dieser Reise bengalischer Volkslieder zu sein, die das Aufkommen des Neuen und den Geist der Menschheit in ständigem Drang nach neuen Bewegungen und neuen Methoden des Überlebens feiern, mit anderen Worten, das ewig Junge. Lieder von Bootsleuten, Bauern, Teegartenarbeiter*Innen, Mystikern, Sufis, Lieder des Protests, Lieder der Ernte, Lieder, die immer das Neue begrüßen, und viele weitere.

Der gesamte Erlös kommt dem täglichen Betrieb unserer Arbeitskantine PMBCK in Howrah, Indien, zugute.
